What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things such as your login and your choices. We also use similar technologies, such as local storage in your browser, for the same purposes. In this policy we call all of them cookies.
Your choices
When you first visit CompoundList, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. You can accept all or reject all with one click, and the site works fully either way. Strictly necessary cookies are always on, because the service cannot work without them.
You can change your choice at any time in the cookie settings at the top of this page. The Cookie policy link in the site footer always brings you here. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from signing in.

We show prices in Indian rupees to visitors in India and in US dollars to visitors from every other country. The cf_geo and cf_region cookies make that work without storing anything that identifies you.
Analytics (only with your consent)
These cookies help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. They are set only if you accept analytics cookies. Until you accept them, and whenever you reject them, the analytics scripts are not loaded at all. If you change your mind later, the change applies straight away, and rejecting removes the analytics cookies already set.

Google and Microsoft process this data under their own privacy terms. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites with Google's browser add on.
Advertising
We do not use advertising cookies or cross site tracking for advertising. Banner advertisements on CompoundList are served by us and labelled Sponsored. If we add advertising partners in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

We will update this page when we add or change cookies. The table above always shows the cookies currently in use.
