Chemical data
Identifiers, names, structures, properties, classifications and regulatory information on chemical pages are reference data, and some values are calculations we run on structures. Reference data can contain errors, can be inconsistent and can change. Details may have changed since a page was updated, so please confirm them with the supplier.
Calculated properties, such as molecular weight, logP or polar surface area, are computed from structures and are not experimental measurements. Structure drawings are generated automatically and may not show every detail of stereochemistry, tautomers or salt forms correctly.
Always confirm critical information, such as identity, purity, grade and regulatory status, with the supplier's own documents and, where it matters, with independent testing.
Safety information is not a safety data sheet
Safety summaries on chemical pages are a GHS classification summary for general orientation. They are not a safety data sheet and do not replace one. Hazards can differ between products because of grade, impurities, concentration and physical form. Always obtain and follow the current safety data sheet from the supplier of the exact product you handle.
No professional advice
Articles, guides, the glossary and tools on CompoundList are general information. They are not legal, regulatory, customs, tax, medical, safety engineering or other professional advice. Laws and standards change often and vary by country. Get advice from a qualified professional before acting on information that matters to your business.
Supplier information
Supplier profiles and listings are managed by the suppliers themselves, except profiles labelled "Unclaimed profile". Those are not managed by the company yet and their details may be incomplete or out of date. We do not guarantee that suppliers are able to supply the products shown, that their products meet any specification, or that their documents are genuine.
A verification badge shows only what we checked and when, as described on our verification page. It is not an endorsement or a guarantee of quality, delivery, solvency or legal compliance. Do your own due diligence before you pay any supplier.
Prices and currency
Prices shown in listings are set by suppliers and may be indicative, out of date or exclude taxes, duties and freight. Where we convert prices to show them in Indian rupees or US dollars, we use reference exchange rates that may differ from the rate your bank applies. The binding price and terms are those in the quote and contract you agree with the supplier.
Trade data
Import and export figures on HS code and country pages are official country level statistics and reflect what countries report at HS six digit level. They show country level flows, not individual shipments or companies. Reported figures can be revised, can differ between the importing and exporting country and may be incomplete for recent periods. Suggested HS codes on chemical pages are a starting point, not a customs ruling.
Illustrative images
Some images, such as packaging photos and category illustrations, are generated with AI tools and are labelled as illustrative. They do not show any specific supplier's product or packaging.
Sponsored positions and links
Some positions, such as TopRank listings, featured suppliers and banner advertisements, are paid and always labelled as sponsored. Links to third party websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.
