TDS (technical data sheet)
Definition
A supplier document describing a product's typical properties, specifications, applications and use instructions.
A technical data sheet is a marketing and technical document rather than a safety or batch document. For specialty chemicals, it usually gives typical values, recommended use levels, processing guidance and compatibility notes.
Typical values on a TDS are not guaranteed limits. The binding values are those in the agreed specification, and each batch is documented by its certificate of analysis.
