Exposure limits and toxicity
Occupational exposure limits and toxicity data
Perfluoroethane did not induce structural or numerical chromosome aberrations in human peripheral blood lymphocytes in either the non-activated or metabolically -activated test systems. The major complications in patients after vitreous surgery and one of two perfluorocarbon gases were increased intraocular pressure, which was usually transient, and gas-induced lens opacities.
