What is Tabun?

Plain description, key identifiers and synonyms

G-Series Nerve Agent GA is an alkylphosphonic acid ester nerve agent that is a colorless or amber liquid with a bitter almond-like fruity odor and is absorbed into the body by inhalation, ingestion, skin contact, or eye contact. GA causes excessive cholinergic stimulation by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase at neuromuscular junctions and in the central nervous system.
