EUH statement
Definition
Supplemental hazard phrases used on labels in the European Union in addition to GHS H statements.
The EU CLP Regulation keeps some hazard phrases that are not part of the UN GHS. They are coded EUH, for example EUH014 Reacts violently with water, EUH066 Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking, and EUH208 Contains (name of sensitising substance). May produce an allergic reaction.
Suppliers exporting to the EU need to include the applicable EUH statements on labels and in the SDS.
