GHS02 flame
Definition
Pictogram for flammable gases, aerosols, liquids and solids, and for self heating or pyrophoric materials.
GHS02 (flame) is one of the nine GHS hazard pictograms, a black symbol on a white diamond with a red border.
Used for: flammable gases, aerosols, liquids and solids, pyrophoric and self heating substances, substances that release flammable gases in contact with water, and self reactive substances and organic peroxides of types B to F.
Common examples are solvents such as acetone, methanol and ethanol. For flammable liquids the category depends on the flash point and the initial boiling point.
