GHS03 flame over circle
Definition
Pictogram for oxidising gases, liquids and solids that can cause or intensify a fire.
GHS03 (flame over circle) is one of the nine GHS hazard pictograms, a black symbol on a white diamond with a red border.
Used for: oxidising gases, oxidising liquids and oxidising solids.
Oxidisers such as hydrogen peroxide solutions, nitrates and chlorates must be stored away from flammable and combustible materials. Do not confuse it with GHS02, which shows a flame on its own.
